The law is constantly changing, and lawyers have a professional and ethical duty to remain apprised of the landscape in which they practice. In addition to professional education requirements, Scott Cowan has served as a sessional lecturer at the University of Western Ontario in Youth Justice and Criminal Procedure from 2011 to 2015. Scott has been a regular guest speaker at Osgoode Hall Law School and Western Law in Indigenous Criminal Justice and has served as a guest instructor in their 3L Criminal Justice courses.
He finds himself a regular contributor to Legal Education programs assembled by the Criminal Lawyers’ Association, Legal Aid Ontario, and recently co-founded Destination CPD, a Law Society accredited education provider.
